A new Maths page to our blog.

Hey there
The squares group today explored their new page on our blog.  it is a place where they will find little clips to help them in their learning.  I'm hoping they will share this at home and practice,  ready for our next lesson.  Click on their page at the top to see what it is about.  Its not just squares, we can all have a go.  Watch out for your page coming very very soon

I thought I would share with Room 7 the amazing black eye that I recieved on Saturday playing rugby!

Snail and the Whale go on an adventure!

The Snail and the Whale went on an adventure around the school with my friends and I. They went to all sorts of places, as they were very interested in some parts of the school.  They especially loved looking around  the classrooms to see how we learn, however they were just a little frightened when they meet the frogs from room 2!  We hope that  they will take everything they learnt here and use it  to show the next school how we learn!!!

Today  at mathletics the Snail and the Whale stopped by me and started to help me with my mathletics.

Today the Snail and the Whale did Mathletics. They were very helpful and did some really hard equations (such as 82 x 100 = 8200 ) why would a snail and a whale need to know that? Will they pass on the information to another class? By Lucas

Skype session with 3D @ Russell Street School

Today we had our first Skype session with the 3D class from Russell Street School. It was lots of FUN.


They told us about their school and asked us many questions about Lower Hutt and the things around us.

We have been hosting  the Snail and Whale 3 for 2 weeks.  They have been part of our learning in lots of different places.

 

We are going to create a game to share with 3D and hopefully they will play it and we can compete against them.  

It was very cool to share information and ask questions to other learners in another school.  We love how technology lets us communicate with others and find out how they are learning.
